From 24 May – 28 May Andalusia plays host to the first ever Sotogrande Grand Prix. The Grand Prix is an edition of the prestigious Zoute Grand Prix.
The Grand Prix through Spain will start in Seville, before making its way through the Spanish countryside and ending with a ‘Flying 1/4 mile’ race into Sotogrande over the historic Guardiaro River bridge. The route will showcase Andalusia’s most breathtaking scenery. Exclusive evening events will take place for drivers and guests in secret venues in Seville and Cordoba.
Traditionally British cars will feature in the Sotorgrande Grand Prix such as Rolls Royce, Aston Martin and Bentley’s, based on cars that take part in the event.
Throughout the competition there will be an exhibition and rallies hosted by international auction house Bonhams, with lots of European motoring specialists attending.
Marc Topiol, CEO Sotogrande SA, says “Following on from major international sailing events and world-class polo, hosting SOTOGRANDE GRAND PRIX® is the next step in the transformation of Sotogrande. This lifestyle and real estate destination is a place to enjoy exceptional experiences and moments, and a place for families and friends to connect and relax. Having a major stretch of Andalusia involved in this fantastic international rally is sensational. Many government bodies and communities are behind this to make it an outstanding event.”
