Style File: the wedding dress edit

Posted on by Beyond Bespoke

My summer wedding is fast approaching, and let’s face it, the most important part of any bride-to-be’s big day is the dress — it’s not hard to find the perfect solution with these amazing wedding dress designers right on your doorstep. I’ve shared my six favourite designers that will leave you, your future partner and all of your special guests speechless, from contemporary collections to English heritage

wedding dress designers

1. Caroline Castigliano
Caroline Castigliano has a signature modern style. I love the English Heritage collection because the dresses celebrate the rich history of British bridal design, with sleek lines and clean silhouettes.

2. Amanda Wakeley
Amanda Wakeley dresses are sensual and graceful — the epitome of elegance and sophistication. The mix of lightweight delicate fabrics with tailored, linear lines is something that I admire.

3. Temperley London
Temperley bridal is quintessentially British. The designs are all about the ethereal fantasy, with tulles, silks, laces and intricate embroidery. Deeply romantic…

4. David Fielden
Every bride envisions a feminine yet flattering dress on their wedding day and David Fielden dresses are just that. They are contemporary and exciting with a romantic edge.

5. Louise Kennedy
Textures, shape and form are on the menu for this season’s designs. I think the details of the fine Chantilly lace and delicate beading in this collection are beautiful.

6. Roland Mouret
These word from Roland Mouret sum things up quite nicely… “I want my bridal dresses to be a bit more sexy. I wanted to create something that is about you and your partner, a one-to-one private relationship with the dress – not just something to please friends and family.”
