With anticipation and expectation circling, the Ivy Collection continues its expanse in sight of Cobham, to grow from one of the best restaurants in London to surrounding. With approachable atmosphere in undeniable sophistication, the Ivy Collection offer the best of modern British dishes served in luxe locations, giving all-day dining a hard to argue precedence. To mixtures of grills, brasseries and cafes, Ivy expert upon easy going stop offs in chic village-style surroundings. This new placement in Cobham high-street aligns perfectly as the new celebrity haunt, the site featuring a delicate terrace area, bar, and mezzanine level for dining – all wrapped in Ivy Collection essence.
From City Garden to Wimbledon, the Ivy collection chain now grows into an offshoot brasserie posted in a grade-II listed building direct to Cobham high street. Serving breakfast until late, and catering from cocktail to quality food stop off, a spokeswoman for Ivy expressed “each location is carefully handpicked to value, reflect and add to the local area.” Replacing La Rive, a short-lived French restaurant, the choosing of Cobham as a new site destination is apt with renovation and investment interest. With its tranquil setting of charming village aesthetics to match Painshill Park as a beautiful backdrop, the critically acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio have consulted on interiors to outstanding effect.
With a total of 180 covers both interior and exterior, a proportion of tables are available for those spontaneous walk-in trips, the space being designed for those living, working or shopping within the area. With this the idea of camaraderie parades with charm through the selected interiors, displaying antique brass chandeliers, marble floor tiles and heading a arancia onyx bar.
With afternoon tea, weekend brunches and the full dining experiences available, range is in abundance here, executive chef Sean Burbidge ensuring sophisticated splendour holds at every turn.
Opening 1st of June, and open from 8am-12am Monday to Saturday (Sundays 9am-11pm) this is definitely a place both to be visited and experienced.
