Bremont is an award-winning British luxury watch brand which launched its collection of highly developed aviation inspired timepieces in 2007 after 5 years in development. Bremont now offers a comprehensive collection of COSC certified automatic chronometers. Founded by two British brothers, Nick and Giles English, Bremont originated from the brothers’ joint lifetime love and passion for engineering and aviation. The brand has made a substantial impact on the watch industry in a very short period of time and remains true to its original principles of; British Engineering, Military & Aviation, and Adventure.
In January 2013, Bremont opened its watch making facility in the Oxfordshire town of Henley-on-Thames. The beautiful oak framed building in the heart of the Chiltern Valley has been custom built to provide an ideal facility for the manufacture of these high-end mechanical watches where all of the assembly and finishing off of key movement and case components takes place. Bremont is keen to develop mechanical watch manufacturing expertise in the UK and to this end the firm opened its Parts Manufacturing Facility in Silverstone, England, at the end of 2014 where it is manufacturing case and movement components.
Historically, Britain has had a considerable impact on watchmaking and was the pioneer of technical development throughout the last century. Indeed Britain was the birthplace of numerous timekeeping innovations still used today. Bremont is proud to be at the forefront of the revival of British watchmaking. The appeal for the brand’s high quality and limited production timepieces is making Bremont a real force in the high-end luxury watch market. Limited numbers are manufactured each year and all Bremont watches adhere to the core values of precision, durability and individuality.
As well as manufacturing watches for some of the most exclusive military squadrons around the world, recent collaborations have seen Bremont work with the likes of aviation giant Boeing and the iconic British automotive company Jaguar. In 2015 Bremont was appointed as Official Timing Partner to the 35th America’s Cup. Renowned as the oldest trophy in international sport the America’s Cup first took place in 1851 on the waters off England’s south coast. Today this exciting and compelling event remains firmly at the forefront of the international sporting calendar, with cutting edge catamarans crewed by world-class sailors fighting to win the historic trophy.
