Residence is the first of its kind, an opulent festival founded by John Saunders (Managing Director, Exosphere) and Sally Davies (Managing Director of Universal Music UK’s U-Live division), working with Ed Dolman (former Director & Founder of Secret Garden Party & Wilderness).

Launching during the weekend of the 20th – 22nd July 2018, it will be hosted amongst 500 acres of stunning English countryside at Althorp House, one of the greatest private homes in the UK. Filling a gap in the market for a truly luxurious festival, it will be a three-day celebration of music, gastronomy, art and culture, laced with style. Luxury will be woven into every detail of this unique festival experience, including a number of carefully considered brand partnerships across the music, automotive, fashion, drinks and hospitality sectors.

The festival will feature the very best music delivered by iconic artists and DJs from at least three stunning venues and stages, one of which will be curated by Decca Luxe. Headline acts will be announced in October 2017, with Universal Music’s involvement ensuring an exceptional line-up representing a diverse range of top music talent. Revelers will experience Michelin-starred gastronomy from international chefs with wine lists to match. A-list mixologists will formulate the cocktails on offer alongside.

Residence will partner with the finest hotel brands to create a boutique camping experience that will allow you to ‘travel light’ by operating a pre-booked camping service, all including luxurious bedding. Candle-lit dining rooms will be housed in bell tents and yurts, complementing the 27 lavish bedrooms and imposing state-rooms within Althorp House itself, all exclusively available to Residence guests.

In addition to this, Residence will ensure guests leave the festival feeling relaxed and revived. There will be spa treatments and therapies on offer, such as sunrise yoga and aromatherapy massages for those looking to wind down. This will be the ultimate restorative escape in Althorp’s tranquil gardens.

Charles, 9th Earl Spencer, says: “I really am delighted to welcome Residence to Althorp. This unique interpretation of a festival fits well with my long-held wish to make Althorp a byword for excellence, adventure, and supreme good taste. It’s very good to know that the Estate and its rich heritage will be enjoyed by a fresh array of discerning visitors.

Pricing and ticket information will be available from October 2017. Tickets for Residence will only be available to members, to apply for membership register to express your interest on the Residence website
