Spencer-Churchill Designs was formed in 1981 by interior designer and author Henrietta Spencer-Churchill. Their interior design expertise lies in residential design, from the renovation of classical and listed properties to new build houses. They combine their specialist knowledge of period design with current trends and technologies, incorporating these into their projects, whilst respecting the historic character and architecture of the buildings.

The company operates from two outlets, a studio/office in Fulham, London and a retail shop in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, selling antiques and accessories for the home. From these premises, commissions are undertaken worldwide both in the domestic field and hotels and offices. The US design company Spencer-Churchill Designs Inc. was formed in 2003 and facilitates projects in the USA.

Spencer-Churchill Designs works closely with highly skilled craftsmen, often using one-off or custom-made materials in the interior designs. Henrietta has also used her own knowledge of classic English design to make bespoke furnishing and accessories to sell to a global market. This range includes furniture, fabrics, lighting and accessories with the US company Maitland-Smith and a rug collection with Loloi.
