We love this Non- Vintage Brut which is great for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations, makes for a great toast to those embarrassing father of the bride, wedding speeches. It's made from Pinot Noir with rich, well-aged Chardonnay and a plummy Pinot Meunier.
‘The Pinot Noir at the core of the Non-Vintage blend is bold and brassy. This is complimented by aged Chardonnay reserve wines which have spent an additional 1.5 years on the lees, which helps to retain the vitality at the heart of Digby’s house style, while bringing a mellow richness to the blend. The addition of Pinot Meunier helps to keep the whole affair light and on its toes.’
- Trevor Clough, CEO and Head Blender
The man who invented the modern wine bottle in 1630, formed much of the inspiration behind the Digby Fine English brand. This 17th Century inventor and philosopher, was quite the English character and had a love for food, the sciences, and the arts.
We love this brand, for not only does it draw our attention to a creative English spirit that would otherwise remain hidden in the archive, but also for its wide variety of sophisticated and tasty fizz.
The passion to create wines with their own individual character, emanates from Digby Fine English's CEO, Trevor Clough, who sought to produce world-class blends of wine, that embrace and ultimately, never lose sight of England.
