Voted as the ‘Best French Restaurant’ in London at this year’s Bookatable Awards, Galvin La Chapelle was opened in 2011 by acclaimed chef brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin. Located in the increasingly popular and artisan neighbourhood of Spitalfields, Galvin La Chapelle has been lauded as one of London’s most awe-inspiring locations. With its 30-metre high vaulted ceiling and award winning design and lighting, this grade II Victorian school chapel is indeed a grand setting.
Chef Patron, Jeff Galvin, and head chef Eric Jolibois, consistently provides a menu of modern French cuisine gaining a Michelin star in the 2011 Red Guide – an impressive one year after the restaurant opened. The restaurant also boasts an exceptional wine list with a vertical list of Hermitage La Chapelle wines, managed by Head Sommelier Andrea Briccarello.
On arrival the lucky pair will be served a complimentary glass of brut and will be able to choose a three-course meal from the Menu du Chef, with an accompanying bottle of wine chosen by the sommelier. The winner will also get to take home with them a copy of the Galvin: a Cookbook de Luxe, in which the brothers provide their singular take on classical French cooking, with 150 much-loved dishes.
If you are not lucky enough to win, quote Beyond Bespoke when you book at Galvin La Chapelle before the end of May and you will receive a complimentary glass of brut.
